This latest episode was for once almost fully revolved around Marshall, which I haven't really seen since 2.17 "Arrivederci, Fiero".. It was a good change though seeing as he only played a minor part in last weeks season premier "Do I Know You?". But there was something missing about this episode that has captured me throughout the entire series. This episode was very Seinfeld-sitcom, a one off episode that wont impact the rest of the series, which the writers have said they would delve into, but the one thing i love about this show is it's 4-7 episode arch's that keep the whole story running smoothly. In this episode there was no mention (or no sight) of Stella, the whole Barney and Robin thing seems to be completely forgotten and the only thing that was touched on was the fact the Marshall is still unemployed BUT Barney comes to save the day by helping him out with a job at his new client's, Goliath National Bank.
Another thing that grinded my gears about this episode was another celeb cameo, this time by Regis Philbin. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP. They did this in Season 3 to boost ratings with Enrique Inglesias, Mandy Moore, Britney Spears and to an extent Sarah Chalke, but they don't realise they don't need to do it anymore. NO MORE GUEST SPOTS!!
Anyways besides that there were a few good bits in the episode as Marshall is on the hunt for the best burger he ever had, which he has forgotten where he got it. So the Scooby Gang hunt around NY for it and to their delight find it with a few bumps in the road.
